The Black-faced IbisTheristicus melanopis, is a species in the family Threskiornithidae of ibises and spoonbills - the large wading birds. It is found in grasslands and fields in southern and western South America.
This beautiful bird was standing in the grass, waiting to have its picture taken, as we boarded the catamaran at Tierra del Feugo National Park.
