The Brown or Common Noddy Anous stolidus, a member of the tern family, is a plain looking bird until you get to the eyes – such eyes. From a distance they are barely noticeable, but up close the white-eye liner under the eyes and the white crown is dramatic (1248, 1242).
On a cliff on the north end of Isabella the Brown Noddy was nesting and producing young chicks (0865).
