The Heuglin’s Courser or Three-banded Courser (Rhinoptilus cinctus) is a species of bird in the Glareolidae family (the pratincoles and the coursers). It is found in Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Namibia, Rwanda, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
This Courser is characterized by a V-shaped brown band around the neck and a black, a white and light brown band (thus three-banded) on the breast.
