The Northern PintailAnas acuta is one of the ducks most commonly seen at the Bosque del Apache NWR. A white breast and white neck stripe stretching to the top of its head distinguish the males. It is a dabbling duck as shown by its frequent bottoms up presentation (photos 0387, 0400). Most photos were taken at the Bosque del Apache NWR, NM.
