The Clay-colored Thrush (Turdus grayi) known as the Clay-colored Robin until 2010, is a common Middle American bird of the thrush family (Turdidae). If is the national bird of Costa Rica where it is well known as the yigüirro. It ranges from South Texas (where it is rapidly expanding its range) to northern Columbia.
It is a remarkably plain bird for being a national bird. However, it is probably one of the most common birds in Costa Rica.
