The Hermit ThrushCatharus guttatus is a common thrush throughout the U.S. These were photographed on a field trip with Tony in the Carr Canyon, Hereford, AZ. The adults have a heavily spotted breast with a light rusty tail (7304). The pale grayish back feathers are consistent with these bring the Adult Interior West variant (see Sibley Western Birds).
