The Brown KiwiApteryx australis is the most common kiwi and is often called the North Island Brown Kiwi.
Photos 4627 and 4631 were taken with triple exposures on the Kiwi Walk at the Otorohanga Kiwi House. Photo 4627 shows a kiwi with partial albinism of the head. Photo 2143 was taken in the darkened Kiwi house of the Auckland Zoo.These birds were moving very fast so photo is blurred. Photo 9724 was taken on the beach on the Kiwi walk out of Stewart Island. Finally, the four best photos are 2671 – 3603 taken of stuffed kiwis at the museum at the Otorohanga Kiwi House.
