The Bronze-tailed PlumeleteerChalybura urochrysia, is a large hummngbird resident from eastern Honduras to northwestern Ecuador. It is also known as the Red-footed Plumeleteer, as the Costa Rican subspecies C. u. melanorrhoa has a black, not bronze, tail. This bird inhabits forests, but has a preference for edges, gaps and secondary growth.
