The Swan Goose Anser cygnoides is the domestic form of a goose native to Asia. Its head, shown here, is its most distinctive feature, a jet black bill with a large black bulge on the top. A white rim behind the bill connects to the brown-white body. This bird was photographed at the Huntington Beach Back Bay estuary, CA.
