The Pygmy Batis (Batis perkeo) is a species of bird in the Platysteiridae family. It is found in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitat is dry savanna. The plumage is black and white but the female has an orange eye and a reddish-brown breast band. It has a shorter tail than the chinspot batis, Batis molitor, and an inconspicuous white stripe above its orange-tinged eye.
