The Lark Sparrow Chondestes grammacus is easy to identify because of the combination of a long white streak over the eye, a short white streak below the eye, and a vertical black streak on the throat surrounded by white streaks.
These were photographed at Battise’s Bed and Birds, Hereford, AZ.
