White-crowned Sparrows occur all over the United States and are prominent in our backward (see www.ComingsBirds.com). They were equally prominent in Arizona. Shown here are four mature adults showing a white streak on top of the crown, then a black streak, then a white streak above the eye, then a final narrower black streak.
